It was sixteen years after the momentous %u201cMiraculous Medal%u201d series of apparitions to Saint Catherine Laboure%u2019. The %u201cGreen Scapular%u201d apparitions had taken place in 1840 to Sister Justine Bisqueyburu of the same Community as Saint Catherine and Sister Apolline.
